Each month, you’ll receive a letter featuring the story of one historic place on Mackinac Island. Along with the letter, we’ll include a selection of themed surprises inspired by that month’s featured location. While every mailing is a little different, you can expect items such as:
- A Curated Letter: A thoughtfully written letter from us to you, sharing the history of a special place on Mackinac Island, along with stories and details that bring the month’s theme to life.
- A 4×6 Collectible Postcard: Featuring the month’s historic location—perfect for collecting, displaying, or saving as a keepsake.
- A Themed Surprise: This could be a sticker, a simple craft, a bookmark, or another fun item inspired by the featured location. Every month is a little different, making each delivery a surprise to look forward to!
Join any month to receive the following month’s letter, which is mailed during the first week of that month.
Why We Created This
As sisters, and lifelong Michiganders, we have been visiting Mackinac Island ever since we were little kids. Even back then, we knew it was a special place, the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave.
Over the years, our love for history has only grown, and Mackinac Island is filled with stories waiting to be discovered. The truth is, so much of the island’s history is hidden in plain sight… and most visitors walk right past it without ever realizing it.
That’s what inspired us to create the Mackinac Island Mail Club.
Each month, we share the stories, places, and pieces of history that make this island so meaningful — and deliver them right to your mailbox. Because once you know the stories behind the places, your visits to Mackinac Island will never feel the same again.
And honestly… who doesn’t love opening the mailbox and finding something that isn’t a bill? We’re bringing back the fun of snail mail, Mackinac style!
How it Works
Here’s everything you need to know before joining:
- Mail is sent during the first week of each month using a standard USPS stamp (no tracking included).
- Join by the last day of the month to receive the following month’s mailer.
Example: If you subscribe in July, your first mailer will be the August edition, mailed during the first week of August. - You’ll be billed on the same date each month based on the day you originally subscribed.
- Shipping is included in the subscription price.
- This subscription is currently available to U.S. mailing addresses only.

How Gift Subscriptions Work
- Choose a 6-month or 12-month subscription
- Enter the recipient’s mailing address at checkout
- We’ll mail their first letter during the first week of the next month
- Each month, they’ll receive a new Mackinac-inspired mailer filled with a thoughtfully written curated historical letter, a collectible 4×6 postcard featuring a historic Mackinac Island location, and a surprise themed item to match the month’s story.

Mail Club FAQs
Shipment Dates & Delivery Times
All Mail Club envelopes are mailed from Michigan during the first week of each month. For example, if you join between January 1–31, your first mailer will be February’s edition, shipped during the first week of February.
Please allow up to 14 business days for delivery within the United States.
How can I track my mailer?
To keep Mail Club affordable, all mailers are sent using a standard USPS stamp, so tracking is not available.
When will I be billed?
- For the monthly subscription, you will be billed on the same day each month that you originally subscribed.
- If you choose a 6-month or 12-month subscription, you will be billed every 6 or 12 months, depending on the plan you selected.
- You can review your billing details anytime by visiting your Customer Portal.
What if I need to change my mailing address?
If you need to change your mailing address, please email us at [email protected] with the correct address.
It’s been longer than expected and my mailer hasn’t arrived. What should I do?
Once your mailer has been sent, please allow up to 14 business days for delivery. If your mailer still hasn’t arrived after that timeframe, it may have been delayed or lost in transit.

How can I change my billing info or account details?
You can update your billing information and other account details anytime through your Customer Portal. If you need to change your address, please send us an email to [email protected] so we can make the changes on our end.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time, Mail Club subscriptions are only available to addresses within the United States.
How can I cancel my subscription?
We hate to see you go, but we understand! You can cancel your monthly subscription anytime using the Customer Portal provided through our shop.
